How I train with 3 kids and a business to run.
I own a gym.
I have three young kids.
A wife.
A business to run.
Staff to manage.
Clients to coach.
And I consult with gym owners all around the world — usually 10 to 15 at a time.
I don’t say that to complain.
I love my life.
But I want you to know that when I talk about finding time to train —
I’m not talking from some place of unlimited free time.
I train five days a week.
Not because my schedule is easy.
Because I decided my health was non-negotiable.
And then I built my schedule around that decision.
Not the other way around.
Here’s what that actually looks like.
My sessions are early.
Before the kids are up. Before the gym opens. Before the day has a chance to get in the way.
They’re not always long.
Sometimes I have 45 minutes. Sometimes less.
But I show up.
Every time.
Because I know what happens when I don’t.
My energy is worse.
My patience is shorter.
My focus is off.
My family and my business get a worse version of me.
Training isn’t selfish.
It’s the thing that makes me better at everything else.
I’m not special.
I don’t have more willpower than you.
I just stopped negotiating with myself about whether I feel like it.
The decision was made.
Now it’s just logistics.
When can you fit 45 minutes in?
Not perfectly.
Just somewhere.
Before work. Lunch. After the kids go to bed.
Three times a week.
That’s it.
The people who figure this out don’t have easier lives.
They just made a different decision about where their health sits on the list.
If you’re ready to make that decision book a free intro and let’s figure out what three sessions a week looks like for your actual life.
