When I was in college, I quit the wrestling team after getting an infection the week of our first meet that would have me out for a month without any training.
I had been working out and training for the previous 6 months 6 days per week. I worked so hard that most sessions I would be dry heaving over a garbage can at some point. (I’m not joking and don’t recommend this)
But I quit and it’s one of my biggest regrets to this day.
Growth comes from discomfort and adversity and when we fall down we need to get right back up and keep going, not quit like I did and like I regret doing.
