here’s how Cindy’s lost 25 pounds
Let me tell you about Cindy.
Cindy’s lost a lot of weight with us, and while that’s a really cool highlight of her story, it’s actually one of the least important parts of the story. I first talked to Cindy when she reached out wanting to build some routine into her life.
She used to be an athlete when she was younger, but after having kids, she really lost touch with herself and that part of her life.
She knew how important it was to stay fit and healthy, but the kids had soaked up all her time and energy, and she had now found herself with an extra 60lbs that she was embarrassed about.
Here’s the kicker: Cindy’s a vet tech that commutes 45 minutes everyday for work. And when she’s not working, she was back home doing chores, or travelling with the kids to hockey or gymnastics all the time.
So her time was basically non-existent, and she didn’t think this could work.
But, that’s where our team went to work.
Over the course of the last 6 months, Cindy:
- Committed to MWF workouts at 7AM before she went in to work.
Yes, she had to leave the farm earlier, but this guaranteed she spent time on herself before she started her workday, or before the kids needed her attention later in the day when she got home.
- Committed to 45 minute workouts so she could get in and out.
With the commute, there wasn’t a lot of time. But that didn’t matter. 45 minutes still got the job done.
- Started working with Anna our Personal Training Coach.
She didn’t want one more thing to think about, so she left that to the coach.
Because Cindy had a standing appointment every MWF for the last 6 months, she can happily boast that she’s lost 25 of those 60lbs she walked in with, and she’s well on her way to her goal.
More importantly, she’s built a routine into her week that allows her to take care of herself, all before her kids and family need her attention.
