Only You Can Decide What’s Right For Your Strength JourneyđȘ
as a parent of three and someone who’s married, I understand that life can feel like a never-ending list of responsibilities. There are always questions about how to raise your kids, manage a household, and balance a busy schedule. It’s hard and It feels like every day brings new challenges, and sometimes, finding the answers can be overwhelming. The same can be said for fitness and strength trainingâthereâs no magic rulebook with all the answers. (Believe me I wish there was too!)
When it comes to working out, especially strength training, weâre constantly bombarded with advice: Should you do high reps or low reps? Cardio or weights? Is this exercise better than that one? How many days a week should you train? Everyone seems to have an opinion, and itâs easy to feel lost in the noise. We see all these questions, and we ask ourselves: Whatâs right for me?
Here’s the truth: Just like parenting, strength training isnât a one-size-fits-all approach. What works for one person may not work for another, and itâs okay to not have all the answers. I have been strength training for over 20 years now and I’m still learning myself.
The key is figuring out what works for you, your schedule, and your body. You donât have to follow every trend or jump on every new fitness program. Instead, it’s about finding something sustainableâsomething you can stick with week after week, year after year.
At the end of the day, only you can decide whatâs right for your strength journey. But you don’t have to be alone in figuring it out. At One Life Personal Training, we’re here to help you make a plan that fits into your life. Whether itâs building a routine, choosing the right strength exercises, or learning proper form to keep you safe an injury free, our goal is to take the guesswork out of the equation so you can focus on showing up and getting results.
