Here’s 1 super important thing I wish more people knew about health and fitness – you can’t just put it on hold. That’s just not how your body works.
Life gets busy—I get it. Work, kids, holidays, and everything in between pull you in different directions. But here’s the truth: stopping your fitness routine or putting your health “on pause” doesn’t freeze your progress. It actually reverses it.
The good news? You don’t have to go full throttle all the time. You can shift into maintenance mode:
- Shorter workouts
- Fewer sessions per week
- Focusing on the basics like walking, short conditioning workouts, and quick strength sessions
But stopping altogether? That’s when your strength, endurance, and overall health take a hit.
Health and fitness are lifelong commitments—not about being perfect, but about staying consistent. Doing less is way better than doing nothing.
Don’t hit pause—just dial it down.
