The Brutal Truth About Why You’re Stuck—and How to Finally Change
Here’s the play-by-play of a conversation I have at least three times every week:
Them: I need to get my health and fitness in order.
Me: Great. What do you need most right now?
Them: Accountability. I don’t have motivation, and when I try on my own, I fall off track after a couple of weeks.
Me: Got it. That’s normal. We can fix it so you can live a better life. Would you like help?
Them: Yes! Wait… how much is it?
Me: Training plans start at $200. We’ll figure out together what will set you up for real success.
Them: That’s too expensive.
Me: Got it. Come work out in our free training club Saturday at 7 a.m.
Them: I can’t. That’s too early.
Sound familiar?
Here’s the hard truth:
You don’t have a money problem.
You don’t even have a motivation problem.
You have a discipline and prioritization problem.
Why You’re Really Stuck
Your current discomfort—whether it’s physical pain, low confidence, or fear about aging—just isn’t bigger than the discomfort of changing your habits.
So you stay the same.
You keep doing the same things that got you here.
You keep shopping around, messaging gyms about prices, hoping for an easy solution—and every time you get a quote, you find an excuse to stay stuck.
That cycle repeats for weeks, months, and years.
The Mess Gets Bigger
Eventually, the discomfort will catch up with you:
✅ Poor health
✅ Lower energy
✅ Reduced confidence
✅ Higher risk of serious illnesses
✅ Missing out on the life you want
And by then, it’s much harder (and more expensive) to fix.
The Two Choices You Have Right Now
You can choose to change today, or you can wait until life forces change upon you—with bigger consequences.
If you choose change now, here’s what you need to know:
✔️ It won’t be easy
✔️ It won’t be cheap
✔️ You will have to try hard
✔️ Your situation won’t be solved overnight
But by this time next year, you can become someone unrecognizable compared to the person you are today.
You’re worth it.
The people who love you are worth it.
The life you want is worth it.
But you have to make the choice.
